Limbo

All rests upon the consultant in 15 days.

I am sick, I am exhausted, I am in pain, the painkillers I have are causing side effects.

My partner is with me, staying by my side and caring for me.

I need to get out of this limbo and move forwards.

And I will.

But for now we wait on the consultant.

Which is probably false advertising.

Because although I am british, or more accurately English, this blog mostly isnt about Britain.

Its about me, and being diagnosed with MS.

And how this has affected me.

And made me say things like "Toodle Pip"

Because we English, we don't go to pieces when life hands us an excrement coated fan, No

We don the stiff upper lip,

Jut our chin upwards.

'Cookie' is rapidly approaching thirty years old, a graphic designer by trade and hobby, and has spent ten years thinking she was a hypochondriac before finding out that actually she wasnt crazy, and 'tired' is called 'fatigue' in medical terms, and not always caused by forgetting to go to bed.
